Well-known Port Pirie Real Estate Agent and sporting personality, Matt Ganley, was guest speaker at the Chamber’s latest networking Evening at the Port Pirie Golf Club. Matt Gave an excellent account-and positive-account of the real estate industry in this region.

However, a disappointing crowd of just 21 attended.

Concerns on Car Park

parking

At the recent meeting of the Chamber of Commerce a lengthy discussion took place on the poor condition of the area known as Prests car park.

The executive was highly critical of the area and as a result we are making contact with Council to see what steps need to be taken to upgrade it. Will keep you posted when we have some feedback.

The meeting was also given an update on the Transformation project at Nyrstar by Gail Bartel, who was representing Bertus DeVilliers at the meeting. Gail was very positive of progress and things will really start to move over the next few months.
