At the November meeting, President Mark called for more involvement from executive members.

“Speak to others about the Chamber, try and recruit more members, the President asked of the executive. We have a good group, but we still need more members to enable us to increase our activities,” the President said.

The Executive also decided it would hold a dinner for invited guests on February 1. More details on this soon.

It was also  agreed that the Chamber needed a business plan for the coming years. This will be discussed at a “Think Tank” early in the New Year.

Bertus DeVilliers gave a update on the Transformation at Nyrstar and reported all was going well.

Members were also invited to hear an update on the “Come See’ project at the Flinders Range Motor Inn at 5 pm on December 1. A tour of St Mark’s College will also be undertaken on December 11 at 5.30 pm. John Pirie High and the Mid North Christian College will be on the agenda for next year.

The Chamber will hold its final meeting for the year on December 16 at 7 am at the John Pirie Motor Inn.
